A Ghostly Fun Halloween for Dr. Z Orthodontics!

As all of our current patients know, Halloween is our FAVORITE holiday. We really get into choosing a theme, decorating and dressing up. This year's theme was Ghostbusters.

The office was transformed into a city with Stay Puft, ghost traps, slime and much more! The team was dressed in full costume.

It was so much fun that it was sad to see the day end.

Giving back to the community!

Dr. Ziuchkovski and the team love to participate in community events. So many great events to get out to and give support in our beautiful city.

Holiday Celebrations

We love to show our appreciation to all of the wonderful mothers in our practice by giving out roses the week of Mother's Day.

Of course we cannot forget our dads! Each patient gets to decorate and personalize a baseball for their dad.

DR. Z publishes more esthetic research findings
As a follow up to part of Dr. Z’s original thesis research, he and colleagues at The Ohio State University recently published “Attractiveness, acceptability, and value of orthodontic appliances,” in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.  Dr. Z is excited to share their findings with our patients and fellow orthodontists around the world.  The full article is available in March’s issue of the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (Am J Orthod Dentofacial Orthop. 2009 Mar;135(3):276.e1-12).

DR. Z publishes original esthetic research
Part of Dr. Z’s thesis research, “Assessment of perceived orthodontic appliance attractiveness,” was highlighted as one of the editor’s choices in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.  Every patient wonders which type of braces looks the best.  This study was conducted to evaluate esthetic impressions of various types of braces, and ultimately which braces are acceptable to the greatest number of people.  The full article is available in our waiting room, as well as in the April, 2008, issue of the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (Am J Orthod Dentofacial Orthop. 2008 Apr;133(4 Suppl):S68-78).
